Bernardine Evaristo, Valeria Luiselli, Colum McCann, Fernanda Melchor, Ocean Vuong and Colson Whitehead are the six authors shortlisted for this year's €100,000 Dublin Literary Award.

The novels from Ireland, Mexico, the US and Britain have been nominated for the award by public libraries across the world.
